Frequently Asked Questions
Why Globe?
Excellent Question. At Globe our first priority is your safety, the protection of your health, your children, your food, your pets and the environment. We use only the safest products with numerous pest management plans. Our prices are very competitive. However, there are companies with a "too good to be true" offer. One must be weary though of a company that offers the "same" service as other companies though at a fraction of the cost. Will you be treated the same with the same quality? Probably not. How could such a company afford to stay in business? Mostly, with everything we provide, we strive for the upmost quality in our services and you will always be treated with appreciation
How long have you been in business?
We have been in this area since 1975. We are less than one mile from our original office location. During the last 30 years we have seen all that Florida has to offer. Rest assured we understand with experience our climate and the changes it endures and how all forms and species of pests in our area react and behave accordingly. In the year 2000 we experienced a total structure fire. During that time, not one customer or scheduled service was missed. Thanks to the wonderful community we have the pleasure of serving and the support offered, that time period was much easier. So, rest assured, no matter what, you can depend on our business.
What if I am offered a better price?
Any reasonable estimate will not only be matched, but beat. Show us a written estimate and you will pay less.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes, absolutely. All of our services come with some type of warranty.

Pest of the month
Pharaoh Ant Monomorium pharaonis
Characteristics
Size:
Very small, about 1/8-inch in length and may easily be confused with several other types of pest ants.
Color: Yellow
Viewed under magnification, the antennae of the pharaoh ant have 12 total segments and end in a three-segmented antennal club.
The Pharoah Ant, one of the most difficult to control pests, are very commonly found in our area. Pay careful attention not to spray this species with any residual pesticides in effort to control the colony with any store bought products. This often makes the problem much more severe than it was before. They will often be found in kitchen and bathroom areas, where moisture is easily accessed.
If identified in your home, a pest management professional should be called to evaluate the situation.
